Lisa has spent her legal career advising clients through the full life-cycle of construction projects. As a former in-house attorney for Denver International Airport, Lisa participated in every aspect of project evolution, from procurement to contract negotiation and finally, project implementation. Lisa has focused her practice on alternative delivery methods and specifically public private partnerships, having recently advised the Airport through the procurement and contract negotiation for the Jeppesen Terminal redevelopment project, the Airport’s first public private partnership. As a result of that work, Lisa brings to BBG a deep understanding of the Owner approach to project delivery.
Prior to serving Denver International Airport, Lisa clerked in both the public and private sectors, first at the Colorado State Senate and then at Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell LLP. Lisa has always been drawn toward the notion of city building and views construction law as a practical and impactful way to make a contribution.
Lisa has had the opportunity to speak at national public private partnership conferences, covering topics such as P3 procurement best practices and how to evaluate risk in the P3 context.
Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado.
